You've got to tip your hat to Mike Geraci. Over the last few months, he's really turned it up a notch on his agency blog by exploring the current definition of public relations. His open conversation has been so accurate and compelling, that other PR guys have been busted quoting (without attribution) a recent "silver bullet" post.
What is public relations? While it's pretty damn fun to pound beers and banter about the exact definition, one thing we all can agree on is that it's merely an outsourcing of a key markeitng division. And as with all contract work ... it helps to understand a classic carpenter's maxim.
